Car Detailing & Valeting in Astley

Astley sits a few miles east of Leigh, and it is a straight six mile run for us from our Golborne base, so there is nothing extra added on for the drive out to M29. It is a semi-rural village rather than a town, spread along Manchester Road and the A580, and we know the lanes and the estates here well enough to get set up quickly wherever the car happens to be.

The mix of housing here is as broad as it gets. The older cottages and terraces around Astley Green and Higher Green tend to keep their cars out on the road, the family semis that make up most of the village have proper driveways, and the newer builds at Mosley Common usually have the younger cars sat on them. Head out towards Astley Moss and Blackmoor and the plots open right up and the lanes fall quiet, giving us all the room we could want. We carry our own water and a power pack, so a car tucked onto a narrow lane is no trouble at all.

Being this close to the mossland and the Bridgewater Canal leaves its own mark on the paint. There is mud off the farm tracks and the towpaths, a green damp film on anything left standing under the trees, and the road grime and winter salt that come with the daily miles on the A580. Some cars just want a valet every few weeks to keep them right, others need a full detail to turn a tired one around, and either way we will look it over and price it honest.
