Getting the outside clean without grinding fresh marks into it is the whole point of doing the job properly. Everything gets a citrus pre-soak and a thick layer of snow foam first to break down the grime before a mitt goes near it, then the wash itself uses two buckets, one to wash from and one to rinse the dirt off, so nothing gritty ends up back on the panels. The wheels are cleaned on the faces and in the barrels, the arches rinsed out, and the whole car hand dried so it is not left to spot.

A two bucket hand wash that rinses grit away rather than grinding it in, then dried with a soft drying towel.
Seal and dress
Paint sealed for up to 12 weeks, tyres dressed and wheels protected, then a final check over in good light.
