Interior Detailing in Wigan: common questions

The seats in my car are stained and a bit smelly, can you sort that?

That is a big part of what we do. A shampoo and a steam clean lifts most stains, and because the steam kills the bacteria that cause the smell, the odour goes at the root rather than being sprayed over. Really old, set in marks do not always shift all the way, and we will be honest about that once we have had a proper look.

How soon can I use the car after the inside is cleaned?

The seats come out damp, not soaked, so a few hours with a window left open usually sees them right. It takes a bit longer in cold weather, so we would not steam them just before you need to sit in for a long drive. Everything else, the plastics and glass, is good to go straight away.

Will you get old stains out of the seats?

Most stains come out with shampooing and steam, and we spend real time on them. Very old set in marks or dye transfer do not always lift fully. We will look at them first and tell you honestly what to expect rather than promising the earth.

Can you remove pet hair?

Yes. Pet hair removal is part of an interior detail. Ground in hair in fabric seats takes longer than most people think, but we work it out properly rather than just running a hoover over the top.

How long do the seats take to dry?

After a shampoo and steam clean the seats are usually damp rather than wet and dry within a few hours with the windows cracked. In colder weather it can take a little longer, so we would not soak them right before a long drive.
